To the editor:

We had the opportunity to walk to Kerrisdale village with guests from Qualicum Beach whom we hadn’t seen in four years and lunched at our favourite Japanese restaurant yesterday. I know it’s a new thing for Kerrisdale but the music by Shoppers Drug Mart was so loud and annoying that we couldn’t hear each other while lunching and it was rather embarrassing.

It would have been nice to have had a lunch with friends without having to listen to very loud music.
