Ads lure shoppers to support money
To the editor:
Right on, Geoff Olson! The ostentatious display of expensive accoutrements explored in "Shop for the cause until last terrorist drops," March 10, reminds me of a flyer which came through our mailbox many years ago. I have never forgotten its eye-catching first line in bold capital (or perhaps capitalist?) letters which simply said, "HOW TO MAKE YOUR MONEY SPEAK LOUDER." The more things change, the more they stay the same!
