Why is it we can only consider ourselves having fun if we are drinking alcohol? Certainly that is the image that the Courier portrays in its cover story ("Happy after hours," June 19).
 
Courier editors can 'roast in hell'
Personally, the thought of the Courier editors roasting in hell for eternity strikes me as rather agreeable ("We are not anti-Catholic," Kudos and Kvetches, June 23).
 
Bulky garbage pick-up would solve problem
Garbage in empty lots, parks, back lanes etc. will never go away until the cities in the Lower Mainland take all household garbage that residents need to dispose of.
